She was born on Jan. 12, 1920, in Hartford, the daughter of James W. She was the widow of Donald C. Lathrop; they were married June, 28, 1941. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Thornton H. Lathrop and her sisters, Barbara and Laura. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to East Lyme Public Library to help with the purchase of books.

This blog is from the eyes on the fire ground,from eastern CT to RI. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. City of Norwich dispatched to reported structure fire in the area of Grove St and McKinley Ave. Battalion 1 on scene at 9 Grove st reporting working fire with fire through the roof. On scene was Norwich Squad A, Truck 1, Engine 3, Engine 2, Battalion 1 and Mohegan Tribal Fast Team.
We are an all-volunteer fire department. All photos posted here are taken by members of this dept. Please be conciderate and ask to copy or repost these pictures.
